CARE Ecosystem

Users can start to use the CARE ecosystem when they register their data. When a user registers his/her medical data, a Soulbound Token (SBT) will be issued to the user. An SBT is a non-transferable token, and in the CARE ecosystem, it will serve as proof of identity and medical record data for a user in the future.
When users register their information for the first time, CareCoin will be issued after they register their information, and the users are able to use it to receive diverse services available on the CARE platform.

Phase1: SBT with Medical Data

The CARE project advances its decentralized society (DeSoc) by managing and using all human-related data effectively, including medical data.
The CARE Project allows users to manage their personal information using Soulbound Tokens (SBTs), which are non-transferable to others.
We will start with a service that allows individuals to manage their medical information, which are mainly medical consultation and examination information. We aim to make effective use of this service in the decentralized society (DeSoc) down the road, where individuals control their various information.
A user can receive the SBT (Soulbound Token) by registering his/her data. The user can also receive CareCoin for the first registration. The SBT contains the user’s medical information, which the user can disclose to medical institutions as asked. The medical examination results and health conditions will be recorded on the SBT.
Information will be recorded on the blockchain as hash values and on-chain transactions, which forge new blocks. Then, the data will be stored securely in off-chain private data storage for the user.
Users will be also able to receive not only such data management services but also iPS cell banking and Ai imaging diagnosis services, which are both available at our clinic. The CARE project’s strengths lie in its preventive medicine (using iPS cells), early detection and rapid response (AI diagnostic imaging), and medical examination and data management to cure diseases, especially the last two are key.
Off-chain data and on-chain HashLink are (publicly) recorded using an on-chain smart contract, which will be stored and managed in secure private storage. An SBT owner can choose when and to whom to disclose his/her information. The owner could also select a storing method from the following three methods that we are currently considering.
1, Owner's hardware wallet
2, Cloud service selected by the owner
3,Distributed network (InterPlanetary File System)Figure 1
Data owners can manage their information by utilizing a service they put trust in like listed above.
